Sharon Wander assisting NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife with Bog Turtle monitoring
Both Wade and Sharon Wander were intensely interested in natural history from an early age, and built on this interest by achieving graduate degrees in the ecological sciences in the 1980s. In 1985 we established Wander Ecological Consultants to meet the need for consultants with both academic training in ecological principles and extensive experience in field identification of wildlife and vegetation. We serve both the public and private sectors in dealing with environmental regulations involving the protection of natural resources. We have completed thousands of wetland delineation and permitting projects, but our deepest interest lies in the area of field inventories and surveys for wildlife (particularly butterflies and birds), vegetation, and their habitats.
We have won the respect of regulatory agencies by producing objective work of the highest quality, and the appreciation of clients by dealing with them honestly and helping them comply with regulatory requirements, or achieve other goals, as efficiently and economically as possible.
We would welcome the opportunity to put our expertise to work for you
